ODAC Announces 2008
Football Media Day
Annual Meeting Set
for August 8th in Salem

SALEM, Va. ---
The opening event of the 2008-09 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC)
athletic schedule has officially been set. The 2008 ODAC Football Media
Day will be held on Friday, August 8 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem,
Virginia. The annual meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m.

The conference’s seven head coaches will be in attendance to provide
insight into each of their programs for the upcoming gridiron campaign.
Several preseason materials will also be available including conference
and school media guides, team and composite schedules, and the preseason
coaches’ poll.
Each of the ODAC schools has 10 games slated for the 2008 season. All
begin play on Saturday, September 6, in non-conference action. The
ODAC-only portion of the schedule kicks off on Saturday, September 27,
with a pair of league matchups.
