ODAC Announces 2007-08 All-Academic Team

1,056 Student-Athletes Honored

SALEM, Va. --- For the second straight year, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic Team eclipsed 1,000 student-athletes.  Through 2007-08 academic year, 1,056 ODAC athletes were honored amongst the conference’s competing schools with an All-ODAC Academic Award.

 

Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class.  He or she must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year to be considered for an All-ODAC Academic Award.

 

Washington & Lee University placed the most student-athletes on the list with 224 individuals on the academic team.  Lynchburg College and Roanoke College also boast more than 100 student-athletes on the list with 121 Hornets and 112 Maroons represented.
