New Men's Hoops Show Set for Saturdays
30-Minute Spot Hosted by Dave Ross to Air Live and Stream Live via ESPNinVA
FOREST, Va. --- More coverage of ODAC and
NCAA Division III men's basketball is coming to the airwaves and
Internet this weekend as ESPNinVA is set to launch a new radio
show, hosted by Dave Ross. The 30-minute spot will feature
interviews from ODAC and NCAA Division III men's hoops
personalities from across the nation in a build-up to the NCAA
D-III Championship in Salem in March.
Virginia's "Championship City" will play host to its 16th
consecutive NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship the
weekend of March 18-19, welcoming some of the most talented
collegiate basketball teams and student-athletes to the Roanoke
Valley. Fortunately for those local to the region, the ODAC
features several championship-caliber squads that have found much
success in the Salem, providing some memorable moments in the
national tournament in recent years.
Starting Saturday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m., Ross will dive into
discussion, analysis and features surrounding ODAC and NCAA
Division III Men's Basketball leading up to the NCAA Division III
National Championship. The show will include guest commentary
from coaches and individuals inside and out of the ODAC as it
covers the progress of teams "On the Way to the NCAA Division III
Men's Basketball Championship." The show will be streamed
live on www.espninva.com and air live in the areas of
each of the following four radio stations: 1240 AM in Roanoke, 1350
AM in Bedford, 1320 AM in Lynchburg, and 106.3 FM in Danville.
