TCNJ remained unbeaten at 20-0 following a largely dominant effort in which the Lions out-shot Virginia Wesleyan, 32-2.

The Lions jumped on the board with the first of their two opening-frame goals in the 13th minute. Elizabeth Thoreson finished off a thru ball from Jessica Goldman for a 1-0 lead. A little more than 11 minutes later, Goldman and Thoreson switched roles as Goldman headed home a cross from Thoreson five-yards in front of VWU's net.

TCNJ secured the game's final tally just 2:36 into the second half. Goldman was again in on the effort as she fed Christine Levering, who finished off the effort with a strike inside the near-post.

Virginia Wesleyan keeper Alicia Zamora was busy with nine total saves including seven in the second half. Marli Hayward and Julia Downing registered the Marlins shots, although both were deemed off-target.
