HONOREE FROM ROANOKE COLLEGE
- The 1993 NSCAA National Field Player of the Year and Second Team All-American. Also, a two-time NSCAA All-South Region selection (1992 &1993)
- Helped lead the Maroons to their best record and finish in school history, which included a 20-4 record, the ODAC Championship, the program’s first ever NCAA tournament appearance, and a trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals
- Was the 1993 ODAC Player of the Year and a three-time First-Team All-ODAC selection after earning second-team honors as a freshman in 1990
- Is second in all-time scoring (108 pts), tied for fifth in goals (37) and is the leader in career assists (34) and single season goals (22) for Roanoke
- On the hardwood, Fonder set a program single season assist record with 158 helpers in 1993-94. He also helped RC capture the ODAC championship that year
- Earned RC’s Jeffery Childs Willis Co-MVP Award and Male Athlete of the Year in 1994
