HONOREE FROM WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
- Lettered and played in the top-six singles and doubles positions each of his four years
- Team captain during his senior season
- Five-time All-American -- twice in singles and three times in doubles -- tied the NCAA record by winning three individual national titles
- Helped WLU win the 1988 Division III National Championship and finished as the doubles runner-up with partner Chris Wiman
- Won the Division III singles title in 1989 and claimed the doubles crown with Bobby Matthews
- Finished his career with as a singles semifinalist and national doubles champion with Bill Meadows in 1991
- Two-time ODAC Player of the Year, four-time All-ODAC honoree, and W&L Outstanding Senior Male Athlete of the Year
