ODAC Women's Volleyball Report: Week 4

    Parker, a fifth-year from Andover, N.J., picks up her second weekly award of the season after leading Randolph-Macon to a trio of ODAC victories with 43 total kills on a .313 attack percentage, which helped her collect an ODAC weekly-high of 54.5 points (6.06 per set). Parker averaged 4.78 kills and 3.00 digs over nine sets of action. That began with a 3-1 victory over Lynchburg in Ashland. She generated 17 kills on a .244 attack percentage with 15 digs. She added four aces and one block to account for 21.5 points. In the first match of a planned conference-play weekend back-to-back, Parker was needed for just one set in a 3-0 win over Hollins. She registered six kills in 12 swings without an error, good for a .500 attack percentage. she added four aces to account for 10 points in that set and picked up two digs. The next day, Parker registered 20 kills in a match for the fourth time this season -- two more than any other ODAC player -- in a 3-1 win over Bridgewater. She made just six errors in 43 swings for a .326 attack percentage. She added two aces and two blocks for 23.0 total points responsible and chipped in 10 digs for her second double-double of the week. For the season, Parker leads the ODAC kills (4.76) and points (5.75) per set. She is second in overall kills (181) and points (218.5).

    • Averett outside Emma Nash posted 41 kills powered by 16 each in 3-1 wins over Shenandoah and Randolph in a week that also featured a 3-2 win over Eastern Mennonite; she added seven aces, five blocks and 41 digs to her weekly output and accounted for 51.0 total points (3.92 per set).
    • Bridgewater opposite Brooklyn Williams registered 14 kills at a .364 clip with six total blocks in third matches last week.
    • Eastern Mennonite outside Sophia Denby posted a career-high 17 kills on a .417 attack percentage with 17 kills in a 3-2 loss to Averett.
    • Guilford outside Natalie Moore continued her strong season 37 kills on a .211 attack percentage towards 46.0 total points (4.18 per set); added 37 digs and eight aces; posted matches of 13, 13, and 11 kills in wins over Greensboro (3-2), Eastern Mennonite (3-0) and Shenandoah (3-0).
    • Lynchburg middle Ava Meinhardt registered 24 kills and 10 blocks across three matches against Ferrum (W, 3-1), Randolph-Macon (L, 3-1), and Roanoke (L, 3-2); hit .358 for the week.
    • Virginia Wesleyan middle Emma Claytor registered 18 kills on a .552 attack percentage with 10 total blocks in a trio of 3-0 wins over Eastern Mennonite, Bridgewater, and Hollins.
