ODAC Women's Basketball Report: Week 10

  • COURTNEY MCMILLAN | GUILFORD | JR. | F | LEXINGTON, N.C.
    McMillan, a junior from Lexington, N.C., collects her first ODAC weekly award after leading Guilford to a pair of conference victories last week. McMillan averaged 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over the two games, shooting 16-of-25 (.640) from the field and 10-of-11 (.909) from the line. In the Quakers 72-63 win at Shenandoah, McMillan went for 15 points, eight rebounds (3 offensive), two assists, three steals, and three blocked shots. She was 6-of-8 from the field and made both of her foul shots in a 31-minute shift. McMillan then set a new career-high with 30 points in a second 31-minute outing in GC's 85-60 home win over Randolph. She was 10-of-17 from the field including 2-of-4 from deep. She was 8-of-9 from the foul line. She collected seven rebounds (5 offensive) to go with a pair of steals. For the season, McMillan seventh in the ODAC in points scored (199) and eighth in scoring (13.3). She is fourth in field goal shooting (73-of-141; .518).
