ODAC Women's Volleyball Report: Week 6

ODAC women's volleyball programs are as many as seven matches into their 13-match league slates. Washington and Lee, ranked 19th in the country, remains unbeaten at 17-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play. The Generals have yet to drop a set (21-0) in ODAC play and have only surrendered six (51-6) all season. WLU's upcoming slate is tough with a road match at Bridgewater (6-1, 14-3) during the midweek and a weekend excursion to Pennsylvania to take on Susquehanna and Division III #1 Juniata.

  • VIVI VASQUEZ | WASHINGTON AND LEE | SO | LIBERO | ST. JOHNS, FLA.
    Vasquez, a sophomore from St. John's, Fla., is back in the ODAC weekly awards winners' circle for a third time after helping the nationally 19th-ranked Generals improve to 17-0 overall and 7-0 in league play. Vasquez picked up 24 digs in Washington and Lee's 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-15) win over Virginia Wesleyan, good for 8.00 per set. It marks her third three-set match of more than 20 digs this season. Vasquez also did not make an error in a match-high 18 serve reception opportunities. She added two aces, a kill, and an assist to her line. For the season, Vasquez is second in the ODAC in digs (289) and digs per set (5.35).

  • GRACE MITCHENER | WASHINGTON AND LEE | SO | OH | RALEIGH, N.C.
    Mitchener, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C., earned her second ODAC weekly award of the season after putting together one of the best offensive matches of the season in helping nationally 19th-ranked Washington and Lee improve 17-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play. Mitchener accounted for 22 points in the Generals 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-15) win over Virginia Wesleyan. She hammered 21 kills on 41 swings with zero errors, good for a career-high .512 attack percentage. The 21 winners are the most in a three-set match in the ODAC this season and fifth-highest mark (tied for 10th ranking) in Division III. She owns the top-two three-set kills contests when combining this match with the 19 kills she recorded in a win over the University of Mary Washington. Mitchener chipped in eight digs and two block assists defensively, and was clean in 11 serve reception attempts. For the season, Mitchener is fourth in the ODAC in kills per set (3.91), fifth in total kills (211), eighth in attack percentage (.263) and digs per set (3.87), and ninth in total digs (209).

    • Averett - Emma Nash (Gr., OH)
      Nash recorded 27 kills over two matches, averaging 3.00 kills per set with a .305 hitting percentage. She contributed 20 digs and seven blocks in a 3-1 win over Shenandoah and a 3-2 comeback win over EMU.
    • Averett - Erin Gray (5th, Libero)
      Gray led the team defensively with 53 digs over two matches, averaging 5.89 digs per set. She also added 13 assists and three aces in a 3-1 victory over Shenandoah and a 3-2 win over EMU.
    • Bridgewater - Reagan Stoop (Soph., OH)
      Stoop had a double-double with 24 kills and 25 digs in a 3-2 win against Randolph-Macon, totaling 41 kills and 34 digs over two matches.
    • EMU - Anna Black (Gr., DS)
      Black posted double-digit digs in both matches, totaling 32, with a highlight of 22 digs against Averett.
    • EMU - Mara Woolford (Jr., OH)
      Woolford recorded a career-high 20 kills against Averett, totaling 28 kills, three blocks, and three aces over two matches.
    • Guilford - Maddi Page (Sr., Setter)
      Page averaged 8.25 assists per set, totaling 66 over two matches. She also added six kills, five aces, and three blocks, helping Guilford win 3-0 against EMU and 3-2 against Shenandoah.
    • Lynchburg - Kailey Keough (2026, OH)
      Keough achieved a .632 hitting percentage with 12 kills and no errors in a straight-set win over Roanoke. She also recorded eight digs, finishing with 12.0 points.
    • Lynchburg - Ava Meinhardt (2027, MB)
      Meinhardt had eight kills with a .615 hitting percentage and three total blocks in a 3-0 sweep over Roanoke. She totaled 10.0 points in the match.
