Randolph-Macon Headlines Top-Heavy Men's Basketball Preseason Poll

Four Teams Collect First Place Votes

FOREST, Va. --- Randolph-Macon College returns to the perch atop the ODAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll following a one-year hiatus in 2023-24, but a clear separation of four teams in a top-heavy survey each garnered first place consideration by the conference's head coaches.

The Yellow Jackets, winners of 10 ODAC championships along with Roanoke College, earned 137 points powered by seven first place votes. National semifinalist Guilford College, Division III runner-up Hampden-Sydney College, and former national champion Virginia Wesleyan University each received a pair of first place votes. The Quakers sit second in the table with 129 points, while the Tigers ranked third with 123 markers. The Marlins are just three points back with 120 tallies in fourth.

In the sections below, we look back to the 2023-24 season to set the tone for this year and then dive into some features of ODAC men's basketball for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.
