  • HALLE SCHART | ROANOKE
Schart, a senior from Mount Pleasant, S.C., collects her second ODAC weekly honor after finishing as the second high-point swimmer at the Keydet Invitational. She finished first in a pair of individual events with a third-place showing in a third. She also contributed to four relays* with one gold medal, one silver, and one bronze. Schart's highlight swim came in the 100-yard backstroke where she won the event and eclipsed the NCAA B-cut standard with a nationally ninth-ranked time of 0:56.54. She also won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.64, which is 22nd in Division III. Both times are No. 1 in the ODAC, while her third-place mark of 0:24.44 in the 50-yard freestyle is second in the conference and 76th nationally. Schart competed in two freestyle and two medley relays. In the 400-yard freestyle relay, she swam the anchor leg (52.65 split) with Julianna Morrow, Claire Ballard, and Kate Pearson. They finished third at 3:37.32. In the 200-yard medley relay, Schart swam third with Morrow, Pearson, and Ballard, placing second at 1:48.63. The same group and sequence of swimmers finished third in the 400-yard medley relay at 4:00.05.

  • ZACHARY ERB | BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Erb, a junior from McGaheysville, Va., was stellar in seven events at the Keydet Invitational, highlighted by a pair of NCAA B-cut times. Interestingly enough, neither of those marks came in the event Erb won. He claimed gold in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:50.21. That time tops the ODAC chart and ranks third in Division III. He placed second in both the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events, eclipsing the B-cut and establishing new ODAC top times at 0:54.54 and 2:00.79, respectively. Those marks rank second and third in the country. Erb also contributed four relay teams, each placing third. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Erb swam third with Connor Cayer, Kaleb Erb, and Christian Carroll. They posted a time of 1:23.22. In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Erb was second with Carroll, Kaleb, and Cayer and notched a time of 3:05.53. The same four – Carroll, Erb, Kaleb, Cayer – swam in the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relays with times of 1:30.64 and 3:21.25.
