ODAC Men's Tennis Report: Fall #1

Results from the ITA Regional Championships

ODAC men's tennis enjoyed its annual ITA Southeast Regional Tennis Championships hosted by the University of Mary Washington over the weekend. Several ODAC teams and athletes participated in a robust four-day competition that featured multiple entry draws for singles and doubles play with championship and consolation brackets for each flight. Below we break down each ODAC school's showing and recognize our first ODAC Singles Player of the Week and Doubles Team of the Week of the season.

Singles: the singles event featured four flights – Championship, Blue 1-3 – and a Main and Consolation bracket for each; rounds of various lengths – 64 players, 32, 16, etc. – were included

Doubles: the doubles event included three flights for Championship and Blue 1-2 play with each showcasing a main and consolation bracket

  • DUTCH PRATHER / HEYS PARKER | WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
    Prather, a first-year from Tulsa, Okla., and Parker, a senior from Atlanta, Ga., went 1-1 in championship doubles at the ITA Southeast Region Championships to round out tournament play in the round of 16. After receiving a first-round bye, the W&L duo earned an 8-4 win over the Randolph College tandem Tom Laflamme and Jacob Martin. On Saturday, Prather and Parker were edged by the fifth-seeded team of Chakor Sankaran Rajendra and Allan Xu of Johns Hopkins University, 8-7 (5).

  • DUTCH PRATHER | WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
    Prather, a first-year from Tulsa, Okla., had a strong showing at the 2026 ITA Southeast Region Championships, going 3-1 in championship singles and making it to the quarterfinals. He won his first two matches in straight sets, defeating Carlos Luna Crous from Franklin & Marshall College, 6-2, 6-4, and Fate MacAlasdair from Swarthmore College, 6-3, 6-4. Prather came back from down a set against Christopher Newport University's Ivan Ceric for a 2-6, 6-3, 1-0 (7) victory. In the quarterfinals, Prather dropped a 7-6 (4), 6-1 decision to Owen Kilmer from Haverford College. Prather's appearance in the championship singles quarterfinals marked the first such appearance by a General since Evan Erb '25 did so in 2023.
