ODAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 8

ODAC squads took part in 10 games last week with four featuring as league outings. Bridgewater (8-3, 2-2) and Virginia Wesleyan (9-2, 3-1) both won twice with the Marlins tied with No. 17 Washington and Lee (6-5) and Hampden-Sydney (5-6, 3-1) a half-game back of No. 3 Lynchburg (8-1, 3-0) for the top spot in the league table. The Hornets earned a win over Roanoke (6-3, 2-2), which was receiving votes towards the USILA poll, and Randolph-Macon (8-2, 2-1) claimed a big win (10-8) over WLU.

    Cook, a senior from Alexandria, Va., put together two strong outings to help Bridgewater to a pair of ODAC wins to even their league record at 2-2. In a 10-5 win over Shenandoah on Wednesday, Cook made a career-high 16 saves on a stellar .762 save percentage. He saw 35 total shots fired at his goal with just five making it past him in a 60-minute shift. Cook got the start and worked the first 45 minutes of the Eagles' 17-2 road win at Randolph. He made two saves while facing eight shots. He picked up three ground balls on the week. For the season, Cook has made 116 saves on a .532 save percentage in 611:03 in goal. He owns a 10.02 goals against average.

  • RILEY HASTINGS | LYNCHBURG | ATTACKMAN
    Hastings, a senior from Alpharetta, Ga., was the offensive catalyst behind nationally third-ranked Lynchburg's 17-13 road win at Roanoke on Saturday. The Maroons were receiving votes towards the latest USILA top-20 poll. Hastings posted eight points on six goals and a pair of assists. This is the third time in five games that Hastings has scored at least five goals in a game. Two of his tallies against RC were unassisted. For the season, Hastings leads the ODAC in goals scored with 34, already matching his season total from 2025. He is tied for first in points (52) and ranks fourth in assists (18).
