WINCHESTER, Va. --- Every starting position player in Shenandoah University's batting order had at least one of the Hornets' 17 hits as the SU offense continued to click on all cylinders in its 15-4 triumph over Transylvania University on Saturday afternoon in the regional round of the Division III Baseball Championship.
Shenandoah (37-10) now has two chances to claim the Winchester Regional title on Sunday against either Messiah University or a rematch with Transylvania. Those two squads were playing for a right to play the Hornets as of the timing of this release. Sunday's first outing is set for 11:00 a.m. ET. If SU were to lose for the first time, a winner-take-all showdown for the regional title would commence roughly 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first contest.
