FOREST, Va. --- ODAC student-athletes have a long history of representing both sides of that collegiate term, evidenced by the level of success both in academic circles and within their athletic arenas. That trend continued in 2025-26 as more than 3,000 individuals make up the ODAC All-Academic Team lists for a third consecutive year.

A total of 3,308 student-athletes dot this season's lists, which ranks second all-time behind the 3,364 honorees from 2024-25 and ahead of the 3,175 standouts that comprised the 2023-24 contingent. Overall, this is the eighth straight year and ninth in the last 10 that the ODAC's final total has eclipsed 2,000 honorees.

The ODAC All-Academic Team is composed of eligible student-athletes from each of the 14 full-time institutions and five associate members that contributed to the conference's 26 sponsored championship sports. Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class. Prospective honorees must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the academic year to be considered for ODAC All-Academic Team recognition.

For the second year running, a dozen league members saw at least 100 student-athletes included in the 2025-26 table. Ten schools set new departmental records in total representation on their institution's final lists. Washington and Lee University led the charge with 549 scholastic standouts. That set new school and ODAC records for single-school recognition.

The Generals were joined by three other schools with more than 300 honorees. Shenandoah University (366) and the University of Lynchburg (356) each remained above 300 and set new school benchmarks. Randolph-Macon College (341) cracked the 300-barrier for the first time.

Roanoke College (296) nearly joined the group of 300. The Maroons and their school-record total are joined by Bridgewater College (262) as two additional schools that cleared 200 honorees.

Guilford College (196), Batten University (187), and Averett University (167) each came very close to making it two straight years with new school records. Hampden-Sydney College (145) and EMU (128) both reset their high marks with the Tigers' achieving the feat for a second year running and the Royals eclipsing their previous standard from 2024. Randolph College (102) caps of the list of 12 schools with at least 100 honorees.

Sweet Briar College (77) and Hollins University (66) put together strong years in closing the ODAC's list of full-time honorees.

Three of the conference's associate members set new school records. Gallaudet University saw 25 Bison join the conference table following their season of football in 2025, while Berry College (16) and Sewanee (8) each saw three more riders recognized than in 2024-25. Southern Virginia University (11) and Greensboro College (10) round out the list of associate members.

Below are links to not only the full listing (PDF) of 3,308 honorees, but individual school pages. Each full-time member plus Greensboro features two PDFs -- one sorted by student-athlete last names and one by sport. The remaining three associate member files are sorted by student-athlete last name as they feature in just one sport in the conference.
