MILES FURMAN | WASHINGTON AND LEE | GOALKEEPER
Furman, a junior from Atlanta, Ga., played all 270 minutes across three matches and made 10 saves on 11 shots on goal for a .909 save percentage while posting two shutouts to help Washington and Lee open the season at 2-1-0. Furman made two saves in a non-conference 1-0 loss to Lynchburg on opening day. He closed the week with a career-high six saves, including five in the second half, to blank Johns Hopkins 1-0 after also shutting out Franklin & Marshall, 2-0, with a pair of stops.

TREY WIDRICK | BRIDGEWATER | FORWARD
Widrick, a senior from Cary, N.C., registered an eight-point as the 2025 ODAC Offensive Player of the Year was on the mark three times with a pair of assists to help Bridgewater start 2026 at 2-0. In a 7-0 thumping of Mary Baldwin University on opening day, Widrick scored twice and handed out an assist for five points. On Sunday in Williamsport, Pa., Widrick played a part in both goals to help the Eagles defeat Lycoming College, 2-1. He assisted Riley Queen on the first goal and scored the would-be game-winner in the 48th minute to give BC a 2-0 lead. Bridgewater was well on its way to a third win on Friday, but severe weather forced the cancellation of their game against Wilson College with the Eagles leading the Phoenix, 6-1, through 43 minutes of play.

MASON WAKEFIELD
Batten, junior, midfielder
Wakefield scored one goal for two points during the week. His tally came in Batten’s 1-1 draw against Moravian, where he played 89 minutes.

JAMARHE WILLS
Batten, senior, defense
Wills played 90 minutes in Batten’s 1-1 draw against Moravian during the nomination period. He finished the week without a goal or assist.

ZANE KOWALSKI
Bridgewater, sophomore, goalkeeper
Kowalski played 161:03 across two starts, allowing one goal while making six saves for an .857 save percentage. He helped Bridgewater open the season with a shutout of Mary Baldwin before making all six of his saves in a 2-1 victory over Lycoming.

ZAKKY JOHNSTON
Hampden-Sydney, junior, forward
Johnston scored three goals for six points during Hampden-Sydney’s 2-0-1 week. He struck twice in a 7-0 victory over Regent and scored the opening goal in a 2-0 win over William Peace.

NATE WHITE
Hampden-Sydney, freshman, defensive midfield
White scored two goals for four points as Hampden-Sydney went 2-0-1 during the week. He scored against Regent and then delivered the equalizer in the 89th minute of a 1-1 draw with Sewanee, while also contributing to clean sheets against Regent and William Peace.

VIKRAM COUTO
Lynchburg, sophomore, goalkeeper
Couto played all 270 minutes across three matches, totaling 17 saves with an .810 save percentage. He made five saves in a shutout victory over Washington and Lee, added three against Texas Lutheran, and recorded nine saves against Southwestern.

IZAACK CRUZ
Lynchburg, sophomore, midfield
Cruz scored two goals for four points across Lynchburg’s three matches. His week included the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of a 1-0 season-opening victory over Washington and Lee, followed by another goal against Southwestern.

WILLIAMS COREY
Randolph, junior, midfielder
Corey totaled three points on one goal and one assist as Randolph opened the season 2-0. His assist helped the WildCats take the lead against Southern Virginia, while his goal opened the scoring against JWU Charlotte, contributing to Randolph’s first 2-0 start since its 8-0 opening run in 2021.

DAVIAN JACKSON
Randolph-Macon, senior, forward
Jackson registered five points on two goals and one assist over two matches. He scored Randolph-Macon’s lone goal against reigning USA South champion N.C. Wesleyan, then contributed a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over reigning SAA champion Berry.

MARUFU DENZEL
Roanoke, senior, goalkeeper
Denzel played all 180 minutes in two matches, making three saves with a .600 save percentage while allowing two goals. He stopped two shots in a 2-1 win over Covenant and added another save against Berry, with one of his two goals allowed during the week coming on a penalty kick.

RYAN SHARPE

Sharpe scored one goal for two points during Washington and Lee’s three-match week. His goal was the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Johns Hopkins, converting a penalty kick with no time remaining in the first half.
