Vasquez, a senior from St. Johns, Fla., registered two 20-dig matches and nearly a third as she helped Washington and Lee open the new season at 3-1. Vasquez posted 73 total digs at a 6.08 per-set average while also only making one error on 29 serve reception attempts for a .966 reception percentage. On opening day, Vasquez posted 19 digs to go with a pair of aces in a 3-0 win at Greensboro College. On a two-day trip to Ohio, the two-time All-ODAC First Team choice went for 23 digs in a 3-0 win over Franciscan University and added 21 pickups in a 3-0 win over host Denison University. The Generals then moved to Westerville, Ohio to square off with Otterbein University. The Cardinals posted a 3-0 win with Vasquez registering 10 digs. Vasquez ranks 13th in the country in digs per set through the first week of action.

HANNAH SMITH | BATTEN | OUTSIDE
Smith, a graduate student from Virginia Beach, Va., kicked off the encore to her 2025 ODAC Player of the Year award with ODAC weekly-highs of 4.75 kills and 5.54 points per set in helping No. 22 Batten University open the year at 4-0. Smith registered 54 total kills on a .375 hitting percentage with nine aces plus 38 digs defensively. On Friday during day one of the Marlin Invitational, Smith went for 10 kills at a .381 clip with two aces and nine digs in a 3-0 win over William Peace University. She turned up the production with 17 kills on a .400 attack percentage with two more aces and six digs in a 3-0 win over Millikin University. On Saturday, Smith exploded for 23 kills with a .452 hitting percentage, four aces, and 15 digs in a 3-0 victory over the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Those 23 kills are the most in the ODAC in a three-set match since former Randolph-Macon star Grace Parker notched 24 against Bridgewater in the ODAC Tournament in 2022. Smith capped her weekend with seven kills, an ace, and eight digs in a 3-0 victory over SUNY New Paltz.

BRENNA RAYMOND
Batten University, first year, position not listed
Raymond anchored Batten's back row with 54 digs across 12 sets, averaging 4.50 digs per set. She also contributed 18 assists and two service aces, including 17 digs against Wisconsin-La Crosse and 15 against Millikin.

MOLLY GARDNER
Bridgewater College, first year, defensive specialist
Gardner served up 21 aces during Bridgewater's 5-0 week, including seven against Olivet, while adding 22 digs and accounting for 21 points. Her 21 aces were the most in the ODAC for the week.

REAGAN STOOP
Bridgewater College, senior, outside hitter
Stoop led the ODAC with 55 kills during Bridgewater's 5-0 week, hitting .270 overall while adding 15 service aces, 43 digs and 71.5 points. She hit .800 against Lycoming and .355 against Olivet and posted two double-doubles, including a season-high 25 kills with 15 digs against Gettysburg — her most kills in a match since her freshman season in 2023.

LEAH DINARDO
University of Lynchburg, junior, middle
DiNardo hit an outstanding .500 with 23 kills and 29.0 points during Lynchburg's four-win week while tying for the team lead with 10 total blocks, including two solo blocks. She hit at least .333 in all four matches, highlighted by clips of .600 against Southern Virginia and .583 against Sewanee.

KATE HARDIE
University of Lynchburg, graduate student, outside hitter
Hardie registered 46 kills on a .286 hitting percentage with 35 digs, five aces, 10 total blocks and 56.5 points as Lynchburg went 4-0. She led the team in kills in three victories, hit .385 with 13 kills against Southern Virginia and .353 with 15 kills against Transylvania, and contributed at least two blocks in every match.

DESTANIE AMBERS
Randolph College, junior, outside hitter
Ambers totaled 54 kills on a .269 hitting percentage, 12 service aces, 70 digs and 67.5 points while helping Randolph start 5-0 and capture the N.C. Wesleyan Invitational title. She hit .333 against Johnson & Wales, .500 with 16 kills against Mount Aloysius and .333 against Mary Baldwin; her 21.0 points against Mount Aloysius tied Randolph's program record for points in a three-set match, originally set in 2016.

MAKAYLA WAITERS
Randolph College, first year, middle blocker
Waiters produced 36 kills on a .391 hitting percentage, nine service aces, 16 total blocks — including eight solo blocks — and 57.0 points as Randolph opened the season 5-0 and won the N.C. Wesleyan Invitational. She hit .545 against Mount Aloysius, .571 against Mary Baldwin and .474 against N.C. Wesleyan, while recording three solo blocks against Mary Baldwin and four against Regent.

MIA GOODE
Randolph-Macon College, sophomore, outside hitter
Goode contributed 27 kills, 37 digs, three total blocks and 30.5 points while helping Randolph-Macon start 3-0 for the first time since 2020. She led the Yellow Jackets in digs for the week and established a career high with 20 in the five-set victory over Southern Virginia.

ALLISON LACH
Randolph-Macon College, junior, outside hitter
Lach recorded 31 kills, 10 service aces, 20 digs, three total blocks and a team-high 43.0 points as Randolph-Macon opened the season 3-0 for the first time since 2020. She produced a career-high seven aces in the five-set win over Southern Virginia while also putting down 14 kills and totaling 22.0 points.

EMMA CATOE
Roanoke College, junior, middle hitter
Catoe put down 28 kills with just four errors for a .407 hitting percentage while adding 10 total blocks and 33.5 points during Roanoke's 2-1 showing at the Cougar Classic. She was especially efficient in the two victories, hitting .524 with 11 kills against Salem and .556 with 10 kills against Bob Jones.

TEAGAN HUBBLE
Roanoke College, junior, libero
Hubble collected 40 digs over three matches, averaging 3.08 per set, as Roanoke went 2-1. She also delivered seven service aces and seven points, with 16 digs against Greensboro and 12 each against Salem and Bob Jones.

HANNAH HYLTON
Shenandoah University, senior, outside hitter
Hylton finished Shenandoah's 2-1 week with 33 kills, six service aces, 29 digs and 39.5 points. Her top performance came in a sweep of Hood, when she hit .423 with 13 kills, five aces, 10 digs, a block assist and 18.5 points.

GRACE MITCHENER
Washington and Lee University, senior, outside hitter
Mitchener paced Washington and Lee with 44 kills on a .290 hitting percentage while contributing 57 digs, five total blocks — including four solo blocks — and 50.5 points during a 3-1 week. She recorded three double-doubles, highlighted by 14 kills on a .481 hitting percentage with 20 digs against Franciscan.
