ODAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 5

  • MARK ISABELLE | SHENANDOAH | SR. | GK | RICHMOND, VA.
    Isabelle, a senior from Richmond, Va., put together two strong games guarding the Hornets to help Shenandoah rattled off non-conference wins over Allegheny College (10-3) and Penn College (14-10). Isabelle was a stone wall against the Gators. He made 15 saves in a 59:09 shift and racked up a whopping .833 save percentage while facing 36 shots. He did not allow a goal in the final 40 minutes of his time on the field and added five ground balls. Isabelle was solid again against the Wildcats. He made 13 stops to give him 28 saves for the week. He posted a .565 save percentage in 60:00 while facing 31 shots.

  • ALEX BROWN | WASHINGTON AND LEE | SR. | A | NORWALK, CONN.
    Brown, a senior from Norwalk, Conn., helped the nationally 12th-ranked Generals post a 15-8 upset at seventh-ranked Gettysburg College over the weekend. The victory marked Washington and Lee's first at Gettysburg since March 10, 2001. Brown put together a five-goal day as WLU improved to 4-1 with its second straight ranked win. Four of Brown's tallies came during the Generals' first-half stretch where they sprinted out to an 8-1 advantage. Two of those occurred during a 6-0 explosion to start the game. He later added a fifth goal in addition to picking up three ground balls and causing a pair of turnovers. Brown, who has now scored 17 goals this season, is three shy of 100 for his career.
