Rios, a sophomore from Stafford, Va., put together a 6-1 week in Roanoke's four matches, accounting for 50-percent of the Maroons points over the course of the week. Rios teamed with Lia Streibich at #2 doubles in all four matches, with the pair going 3-1 against Mount Union (W, 8-1), PSU-Harrisburg (L, 7-2), Lebanon Valley (L, 5-4), and Averett (L, 5-0). The duo posted an 8-7 win over UMU's Emma Thornton and Emily Peel and followed that with an 8-6 triumph over PSU-H's Olivia Bandini and Anita Liu. They won 8-4 against LVC's Sarah Kramer and Eilana Shenk, and then closed the week with an 8-1 loss to AU's Brenda Poulakidas and Jennika Jaison. In singles action, Rios went 3-0 all at the #5 ladder position. She bested Chloe Bancroft from Mount Union, 6-0, 6-1, and then topped the Lions' Sarah Shaub, 6-1, 6-2. Rios's final win came against LVC's Jenna Miner, 7-5, 6-2. Rios's match against AU's Harshri Asher went unfinished.

Maccari, a sophomore from Reggio Emilia, Italy, helped the Maroons rack up a 3-0 week as he went 6-0 between action at #2 singles and #1 doubles over the three matches. Roanoke defeated Mount Union (6-3), PSU-Harrisburg (8-1), and Lebanon Valley (6-3) with Maccari teaming with Zach Kriebel in doubles play during each contest. They posted an 8-4 victory over UMU's Ryan McClure and Holden Schmid. Maccari and Kriebel downed PSU-H's Cooper Wheeler and Damir Cuturic, 8-5, and then churned out an 8-7 win over Jesse Beck and Adam Warren from LVC. In singles play, Maccari took care of McClure, 6-4, 6-0, and added 6-1, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-1 triumphs over Cuturic and Warren, respectively.
