ODAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 11

  • WESTON HAMMOND | ROANOKE | JR. | D | CHATTANOOGA, TENN.
    Hammond, a junior defenseman from Chattanooga, Tennessee, helped the Maroons hold two ODAC opponents to eight goals in each to win both outings and earn his first ODAC weekly award. In a 24-8 triumph at Bridgewater, Hammond caused a pair of turnovers and came away with five ground balls. In a 35-8 victory over Virginia Wesleyan, Hammond forced four miscues and registered six ground balls. He went 2-for-3 on rare face-off matchups and got involved in Roanoke's offensive outburst with a goal and two assists. For the season, Hammond has recorded 25 ground balls and a career-best 68 ground balls. His seven points on two goals and five assists are also career-highs.

  • LUKE KAMMERMAN | ROANOKE | 5TH | A | TRUMBULL, CONN.
    Kammerman, a fifth-year attackman from Trumbull, Connecticut, continues to add to his storied career in Salem with 12 points on six goals and six assists in a pair of conference wins for Roanoke to earn his first ODAC weekly honor of the season. Kammerman posted seven points on three goals and four assists in the Maroons 24-8 win at Bridgewater during the midweek. He posted a .750 shots on goal percentage with two unassisted efforts. Kammerman scored three times and assisted on two other RC goals in a 35-8 weekend win over Virginia Wesleyan. He again was over .700 with a .715 shots on-goal percentage. For the season, Kammerman has racked up 66 points on 38 goals and 28 assists.
