FOREST, Va. --- An undefeated ODAC run for one Washington and Lee University lacrosse team was met by another as the Generals men's program joined their women's squad with an unbeaten conference slate to secure the ODAC regular season title and the top seed in the upcoming ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

The Generals, ranked ninth in the country by the USILA, went 10-0 in league play to earn one-of-two two-round byes into the semifinals of the ODAC's altered-format eight-team bracket. The University of Lynchburg owns the other spot with the 15th-ranked Hornets going 9-1 on the way to the second second.

While two tied scenarios helped determine the remaining six seeds and early round matchups, the third through fifth positions were all earned outright. Roanoke College posted an 8-2 league mark to clinch the third seed, while Hampden-Sydney College will play as the fourth seed after going 7-3. Both the Maroons and Tigers earned byes into the quarterfinals. Fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon College (6-4) will host one of the two first round games on Sunday.

The remaining first round contest will be played at Shenandoah University with the Hornets earning sixth-position via head-to-head tiebreakers over Virginia Wesleyan University after the two squads finished the ODAC season at 4-6. The Marlins will travel to Winchester on Sunday.

Guilford College caps the field as the eighth seed. The Quakers tied with Bridgewater College at 3-7, with GC's regular season win proving the difference in breaking the tie with the Eagles. Guilford will head to Ashland for first round play.
