Suwak, a senior from Arlington, Va., kicked off his fall season and encore to his 2024-25 ODAC Player of the Year campaign with a 3-0 showing over two days at the CNU Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University. On Saturday, Suwak earned a 6-2, 6-0 triumph over Averett's Satwik Kollepalli and a 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) comeback victory over CNU's Vincent Truong. On Sunday, Suwak capped his weekend with a 6-2, 6-2 win over former Hampden-Sydney standout and current Captains player Barrett Foster. Suwak closed last season as the 15th-ranked singles player in the ITA's Atlantic South Region. Rankings have not yet been published for this season.

LUCAS FIANDRA and RAFAEL JODAS | AVERETT UNIVERSITY
Fiandra and Jodas, sophomores from Montevideo, Uruguay and São Paulo, Brazil, respectively, went 2-0 in their doubles opportunities at the CNU Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University over the weekend. The Cougars' tandem squared off against squads from CNU and Shenandoah University. Fiandra and Jodas defeated the Captains' Rainer Christiansen and Nathan Russell, 7-6(5) on Saturday. AU's pair then cashed in a 6-4 victory over SU's Artem Babaiev and Neal Love.
