ODAC Men's Volleyball Report: Week 1

Year two of ODAC men's volleyball is officially underway with three schools competing over the weekend. They took part in four matches, including the first two outings for Shenandoah's new program. The Hornets went 1-1 with their loss coming to Randolph in the first conference match of the season. The WildCats went 2-0 with Roanoke claiming a victory in its season opener.

  • SIMON BELLENBAUM | SHENANDOAH | MIDDLE
    Bellenbaum, a first-year from York, Pa., kicked off his collegiate career with a stellar showing at the net to help Shenandoah go 1-1 in the first two outings of the Hornets' newest sponsored sport. In a 3-0 loss to Randolph in each program's season opener as well as the first ODAC match of the campaign, Bellenbaum registered three solo blocks and picked up three digs to go along with two kills. In SU's 3-0 triumph over Regent University, Bellenbaum again notched a trio of solo blocks with five digs. He also smacked four kills on seven swings without an error (.571).

  • CADE KINNE | ROANOKE | RIGHT SIDE
    Kinne, a senior from Richmond, Va., was on-point with his attack from the right side in the Maroons' 3-0 win over Lancaster Bible College to open Roanoke's 2026 campaign. Kinne, an All-ODAC Third Team pick in 2025, registered 13 kills on 21 swings with just two errors for a .524 attack percentage. He added a block assist defensively.
