FOREST, Va. --- A total of four ties in the final standings factored into seeding assignments for seven of the eight positions in the 2026 ODAC Women's Volleyball Tournament field following the completion of conference play on Wednesday.
Bridgewater College and
Washington and Lee University closed the conference season at 11-1 atop the league table. That tie was set in place by the
University of Lynchburg's victory at BC as the last match to go final during the ODAC slate. The Eagles (22-3 overall) will play as the No. 1 seed with their 3-0 victory over the Generals (21-3) fulfilling ODAC head-to-head tiebreakers.
In fact, each of the four stalemates were solved by the league's first tiebreaking step, head-to-head comparison. That included Lynchburg (23-4) and
Batten University (21-4) for the third seed at 10-2. The Marlins defeated the Hornets, 3-2, at the end of September to earn the third seed. Lynchburg will play as the fourth seed, capping the group that will host quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, November 10.

Randolph-Macon College (14-10) and
Shenandoah University (13-11) tied at 7-5 in conference matches. The Yellow Jackets topped the Hornets, 3-2, in late September to stake a claim to the fifth seed. They will travel to Lynchburg on Tuesday, while Shenandoah treks to Virginia Beach as the sixth seed.
The only position in the table free from tiebreakers was the seventh spot.
Roanoke College (16-9) earned a 3-2 win at
Randolph College (14-14) on Wednesday night to finish at 6-6. The Maroons will travel north on I-81 to Lexington to open their tournament. The Roanoke-Randolph result left the WildCats at 4-8 in league play and tied with
EMU (9-15) for the final position in the bracket. Randolph defeated the Royals, 3-1, on Saturday to win the tiebreaker for the eighth seed. The WildCats will play at Bridgewater in the quarterfinals.
