ODAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 2

All 11 ODAC teams have now played at least one game through the first two weeks of the season. Bridgewater and Randolph-Macon are both 2-0 in the early going with Lynchburg, Roanoke, and Virginia Wesleyan both posting victories in their first games of 2026. Hampden-Sydney is currently 1-1. ODAC teams are a combined 8-6 (.571) in early non-conference play.

  • DAVID HAMILTON | ROANOKE | GOALKEEPER
    Hamilton, a first-year from Basking Ridge, N.J., stood tall in his first collegiate outing, helping head coach Grant Zimmerman register his first Roanoke victory in the Maroons' opening game of 2026. In RC's 17-8 triumph at the University of Mary Washington, Hamilton faced 38 total shots and made 17 saves for a .680 save percentage in his first 60-minute shift. He also picked up three ground balls.

  • JAKE WAGNER | BRIDGEWATER | ATTACKMAN
    Wagner, a sophomore from Townsend, Md., registered a nine-point week to help Bridgewater open the season with two wins at Music City Invitational in Nashville, Tenn. Wagner scored just one goal in the Eagles' season-opening 11-10 victory over Illinois Tech, but the BC's playmaker exploded for a career-high eight points on three goals and five assists in a 14-7 triumph over Piedmont University. He also picked up two ground balls against the Lions.
