ODAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 3

ODAC teams took part in 15 games over the past week including the first conference showdown of the season with Roanoke topping Averett (29-0) on Wednesday. League programs went 9-5 in non-conference action with five squads still unbeaten overall. Randolph-Macon leads at 4-0 with Bridgewater at 3-0 and Lynchburg and Virginia Wesleyan joining Roanoke at 2-0.

    Allen, a senior from Williamsburg, Va., collects his second ODAC weekly award of the season after helping Randolph-Macon to a pair of road victories over McDaniel (17-1) and Mary Washington (12-6). Against McDaniel, Allen got involved on both sides of the field, collecting five ground balls and causing a pair of turnovers while also getting forward to score once and dish out an assist. He also took one face-off and won that matchup. Versus the Eagles, Allen notched a career-high 10 ground balls and caused four turnovers to help the Yellow Jackets outscore their two opponents, 29-7, for the week.

  • LUKE CALDWELL | WASHINGTON AND LEE | ATTACKMAN
    Caldwell, a first-year from Hopewell, N.J., registered a 12-point week in helping nationally 12th-ranked Washington and Lee to a 1-1 showing against No. 3 Christopher Newport (L, 13-10) and Ohio Northern University (W, 17-6). Against the Captains, Caldwell scored three goals and dished out one assist for four points. He then registered five goals and three helpers versus the Polar Bears. He chipped in three ground balls and a caused turnover. Caldwell has led the Generals in points all three games this season, having racked up 10 goals and six assists over his first three collegiate outings.
