ODAC Men's Tennis Report: Report 14

  • ARYANTH CHINTHARLAPALLI / DOMINICK SUWAK | SHENANDOAH UNIVERSITY
    Chintharlapalli, a junior from Hyderabad, India, and Suwak, a senior from Arlington, Va., went 4-0 at No. 3 doubles to help Shenandoah rattle off four wins at the PTR Spring Fest in Hilton Head, S.C. The Hornets duo opened with a 6-4 triumph over Pedro Rozani and Brandon Curiel in SU's 4-0 team win over Hardin-Simmons. In a 4-3 victory over the University of Rochester, Chintharlapalli and Suwak downed Surya Rajamani and Liam Rieger, 6-2. They then defeated Joao Espindola and Tim Pasea, 6-3, in SU's 5-2 triumph over Lake Forest College. In the Hornets' 6-1 win over Berry College to close their trip, Chintharlapalli and Suwak registered a 6-1 result over Lambert Anderson and Leo Nedkov.

  • DOMINICK SUWAK | SHENANDOAH UNIVERSITY
    Suwak, a senior from Arlington, Va., posted a perfect 4-0 record at No. 1 singles to help Shenandoah to four team wins at the PTR Spring Fest in Hilton Head, S.C. Suwak, the reigning ODAC Player of the Year and current 46th-ranked singles player in Division III, defeated Payne Smith, 6-3, 6-4, in the Hornets 4-0 win over Hardin-Simmons. Suwak then turned in a 6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (10-4) result over Andy Liu in SU's 4-3 win over the University of Rochester. Suwak won by straight sets in his last two matches, starting with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Felipe Moraes in Shenandoah's 5-2 victory over Lake Forest College. Suwak then won 7-5, 6-1 over Jake Chapman as SU closed its trip with a 6-1 win over Berry College.
