ODAC Men's Tennis Report: Report 13

  • RICARDS SPAKS / JORGE PATRICIO ZEPEDA | UNIVERSITY OF LYNCHBURG
    Spaks, a sophomore from Liepaja, Latvia, and Zepeda, a senior from Leon, Mexico, went 3-0 in top-flight doubles action to help Lynchburg to a trio of team victories last week. In a 5-2 triumph over Clark University, Spaks and Zepeda posted a 6-4 win over Edward Johnson and Graham Russo. The Hornets' duo won by the same score against Jesse Beck and Jake Erb to help Lynchburg to a 7-0 victory over Lebanon Valley College. Spaks and Zepeda capped their week with a 6-2 result over Jeffrey Bodner and Santiago Diaz in the Hornets' 6-1 victory over Gordon College.

    Beshoar, a junior from Harrisonburg, Va., collects his second straight ODAC singles honor after going 3-0 in No. 1 singles matches to help Bridgewater to a 2-1 team week. In a 4-3 triumph over St. Vincent College, Beshoar posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Braden Yokopenic. He followed that with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Ethan Clawson as part of the Eagles' 5-2 win over Waynesburg University. In a 5-2 setback to Wilkes University, Beshoar continued to shine with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Cole Riley.
