  • HENRY IMORDE / HEYS PARKER | WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
Imorde, a first-year from Lookout Mountain, Tenn., and Parker, a junior from Atlanta, Ga., improved to 5-4 overall as a doubles team with a 2-0 week last week to help No. 45 Washington and Lee to two 6-1 ODAC wins. They edged Shenandoah's Artem Babaiev and Neal Love 7-6 (4) during the midweek before cruising to a 6-1 win against Hampden-Sydney's Thomas Davis and Dillon McReynolds. In their Shenandoah match, Parker and Imorde faced 3-4 and 5-6 deficits with the doubles point on the line, but broke their opponents' serve both times to rally to the tiebreak win.

Suwak, a senior from Arlington, Va., was on the mark for a pair of singles wins from the No. 1 ladder position to improve to 11-0 in all dual matches this season including 3-0 in league contests. In a 6-1 team loss to Washington and Lee, Suwak posted a 6-3, 6-1 win over Heys Parker to claim the Hornets' point.
