SALEM, Va.. — The University of Lynchburg extended its streak of dual championships to three straight on Saturday and Sunday in Salem, Va., as the Hornets lifted both ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championship trophies following two days of competition in Roanoke College's Kerr-Cregger Field House.
Lynchburg's women's team left no doubt about the identity of this season's champion. The Hornets 197.00 points atop the team standings were 102.00 markers clear of second place Roanoke. Washington and Lee University rounded out the top-three with 91.00 points.
In the men's ranks, nationally ninth-ranked Lynchburg also won by a wide margin, out-pacing second place WLU, 149.00-to-103.00. Bridgewater College earned the bronze medal with 82.00 tallies.

The ODAC's coaches will determine the special award winners from this weekend's meet during a voting process this week. However, the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athletes were announced on Sunday evening. Washington and Lee mid-distance runner Zach Moore earned his second straight honor, while EMU distance runner Lucy Unzicker claimed her first ODAC athletic/academic combo honor.
