ODAC Men's Tennis Report: Report 1

Fall season ODAC men's tennis was among the sports that kicked off 2025-26 action this weekend. Averett and Hampden-Sydney both competed at the multi-divisional Belmont Abbey Invitational.

This season, the ODAC will alter its awards layout for both men's and women's tennis. Each week, one singles player and one doubles tandem will garner recognition.

  • ROGER PAMIES PETIT | AVERETT UNIVERSITY
Pamies Petit, a sophomore from Reus, Spain, is the first recipient of the ODAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week award as the conference will now feature one singles player and one doubles tandem each week with conference awards. Pamies Petit competed at the Belmont Abbey Invitational to open the fall season. He won five out of six matches versus various cross-divisional opponents, including four straight against hosts Belmont Abbey. Pamies Petit is the second Cougar to ever earn ODAC player of the week recognition, joining Jayden Mukkaladyil from last season's ODAC championship squad.

  • This new area of the men's tennis report will feature in future releases.
