ODAC cross country programs kicked off the season at four different events beginning on Friday evening.

OLIVIA MORRA | BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Morra, a first-year from Spotsylvania, Va., kicked off her collegiate career in winning fashion as she stopped the watches first at Bridgewater's Eagle Cross Country Challenge on Friday evening. Morra completed the 4K course in 15:21.8 using a 6:10.8 per mile pace. Bridgewater will be the host of the ODAC Cross Country Championships later this fall.
Bridgewater finished second as a team with 71 points.
SHANE STEVENS | ROANOKE COLLEGE
Stevens, a first-year from Altavista, Va., began his collegiate career with a victory in his first meet after placing first at the Eagle Cross Country Challenge hosted by Bridgewater, home of the 2025 ODAC Cross Country Championships later this fall. Stevens completed teh 6K course in 19:16.0 to narrowly edge teammate Nathaniel Orban at the tape. Stevens used a 5:10.1 pace.
Roanoke finished first in the team standings with 15 points powered by the first six finishers in the meet.
