  • JAREN MITCHELL | SHENANDOAH | SAFETY
Mitchell, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., collects his second straight ODAC weekly award after helping Shenandoah post its first shutout since 2022 with a 17-0 road victory at Bridgewater on Saturday. Mitchell tied for game-high honors with 12 tackles including 10 solo stops on BC ball-carriers. Those numbers mark his second game of double-digit overall tackles this season and the first time in his career that he has reached double figures in solo tackles. In the fourth quarter, Mitchell registered his ODAC-leading fifth interception of the season. He hauled in the ball at the SU 12-yard line and returned it 46 yards to the Eagles' 42-yard line. Not only did that stop a promising Bridgewater drive with the Hornets' leading, 10-0, with 3:59 to play, but it led to SU's final touchdown four plays later to put the game out of reach. For the season, Mitchell is 11th in the ODAC with 54 total tackles and third with 33 solo stops. His five interceptions are tied for third-most in Division III. He has seven picks for his career.

  • TERRY HICKS | HAMPDEN-SYDNEY | RUNNING BACK
Hicks, a senior from Clayton, N.C., picks up his third ODAC weekly award of the season as he continued his Division III-leading rushing season in helping Hampden-Sydney to a 31-28 road win at Washington and Lee for the Tigers' sixth straight victory and a 4-0 record in conference play. Hicks accounted for 202 all-purpose yards on 42 touches. He carried the ball a career-high 38 times for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding four receptions for 43 yards. His final catch was on a 4-and-12 play coming out of the two-minute timeout in the fourth quarter. His 17 yard gain to the 8-yard line gave H-SC the first down it needed to kneel down twice and seal the victory. Over his last three games, Hicks has carried the football 147 times – 36, 36, 37, 38 – helping him lead the country in rushes (195), rushing yards (1,227), and rushing yards per game (175.3). He has scored nine touchdowns on the ground, tied for the most in the ODAC with Randolph-Macon's Detric Brown. He found the end zone on successive drives on Saturday. He capped a 9-play 65-yard drive at the end of the first quarter with a 2-yard burst to tie the game at 7-all. He then gave H-SC the lead for good with a 1-yard dive for a 14-7 advantage to punctuate a 10-play 80-yard drive with 11:52 to go in the first half.

  • HANK WEBB | HAMPDEN-SYDNEY | KICKER
Webb, a sophomore from Salisbury, N.C., earns his second weekly award of the season after helping Hampden-Sydney remain unbeaten in ODAC (4-0) following their sixth straight win with a 31-28 road victory at Washington and Lee. Webb accounted for seven points in the Tigers' key victory. He was 4-for-4 on point-after attempts and he converted a 23-yard field goal with 5:13 to play in the third quarter that ended up providing H-SC with its winning margin. Webb also limited Washington and Lee's opportunities on kickoff returns as he averaged 60.2 yards (5-yard line) on his six kickoffs with a pair of touchbacks.
