  • MITCH LADAMUS | HAMPDEN-SYDNEY | SAFETY
Ladamus, a junior from Fort Mill, S.C., helped the Tigers limit a strong Shenandoah offense in Hampden-Sydney's 30-14 away victory to open ODAC play. Ladamus posted seven tackles on the day with four solo stops. He was responsible for both turnovers that H-SC forced. In the second quarter after a long kickoff return by the Hornets and two penalties on that return put SU on the Hampden-Sydney 13-yard line, Ladamus stopped the promising SU possession by forcing a fumble on the first play from scrimmage that was recovered by cornerback Cam Jackson. That preserved a 10-7 H-SC lead with 10:50 to play in the first half. Ladamus ended the game with his second takeaway as he intercepted a pass in the end zone as the fourth quarter clock ticked to 0:00, sealing the Tigers' third win of 2026. For the season, Ladamus is tied for fourth in the ODAC in total tackles (40) and ranks seventh in solo stops (19). The interception was his first of the season and third of his career.

  • TERRY HICKS | HAMPDEN-SYDNEY | RUNNING BACK
Hicks, a senior from Clayton, N.C., collects his second ODAC weekly award of the season after touching the ball 40 times to help Hampden-Sydney post a 30-14 road win at Shenandoah to open ODAC play. Hicks matched his career-high with a second 36-carry game on the way to 227 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The 227 yards are the second-most in the ODAC this year behind his own H-SC record and Division III-leading 316-yard effort two weeks ago at the University of New England. This week's output is the 10th-most in the country. Hicks' two touchdown runs cover one and seven yards, both coming in the fourth quarter as the Tigers put up 20 points to seal their third victory of the season. Hicks also caught four passes for eight yards to give him 235 all-purpose yards. For the season, Hicks leads Division III with 754 yards rushing and is second with 111 carries. His 188.5 rushing yards per game also top the Division III charts. He has found the end zone three times.

  • FULTON WEAVER | WASHINGTON AND LEE | PUNTER
Weaver, a first-year from Fort Worth, Texas, had about as good a day as a punter could have in helping Washington and Lee continually flip the field and set Averett with poor field position in the Generals' 34-7 home victory to open ODAC play on Saturday. Weaver punted four times for a 44.0 average (176) total yards and pinned the Cougars inside their own 10-yard line three times. His remaining boot was a 39-yard fair catch at the 22-yard line. Weaver's first effort of the day was a 41-yard punt that gave AU possession at their own 7-yard line in the first quarter. In the second frame, Weaver boomed the ball 52 yards and left the Cougars to start their fifth drive of the game at their 6-yard line. His final boot came in the fourth quarter when he again left AU at its 6-yard line following a 44-yard kick. For the season, Weaver owns a 39.4 yard per-punt average with four of his 16 punts downed inside the opposition's 20-yard line. His 52-yarder on Saturday was his longest of the season.
