CAROLINA DIRK / ERIKA MENDEZ | GUILFORD COLLEGE
Dirk, a sophomore from Port Aransas, Texas, and Mendez, a sophomore from Asheville, N.C., went 2-0 in top-flight doubles action, helping Guilford to a 1-1 team showing against ODAC foes. In a 4-3 victory over Randolph-Macon, Dirk and Mendez were blemish-free in posting a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Camilla Thurman and Catherine Mowry. The Quakers' duo picked up their second victory in GC's 6-1 team loss at Virginia Wesleyan. Dirk and Mendez notched a 6-2 win over Jette Dammeier and Mikisha Thomas. Dirk and Melendez are now 12-0 when paired together.

Dirk, a sophomore from Port Aransas, Texas, not only went 2-0 in top-flight doubles matches, but she also posted a pair of wins at No. 1 singles in Guilford's 1-1 week against ODAC competition. In the Quakers' 4-3 win over Randolph-Macon, Dirk earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Camilla Thurman. Dirk was then responsible for GC's point in their 6-1 loss at Virginia Wesleyan. She topped Tuva Fink, 6-0, 6-1 to remain unbeaten this year at 13-0.
