Randolph-Macon's Hill Named NFCA Player of the Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. --- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has released their weekly awards and Randolph-Macon senior infielder Reagan Hill (Hanover, Va./Hanover) has been named National Player of the Week for the first time this season and first time in her career.

Hill earns her first national player of the week honor after an impressive week in the field and at the plate. The senior hit .500 over four games, with five runs, a double, two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base for the 12th-ranked (4-2) Yellow Jackets. The senior first baseman also notched 38 putouts and one assist in 39 chances. 

Reagan has had an amazing start to the season for the Lemon and Black. On the season she has gone 10-for-20 (.500) at the plate with three homers, two doubles, six runs scored and 14 RBIs. 
 
The #12 Yellow Jackets have a tough week ahead with a trip to the Triangle Classic in Cary, North Carolina this weekend for four games spanning Mar. 7-8.
