Five Swimmers and Two Relays Qualify for Division III Championships

Potential for More Competition Exists with More Swimmers, Relays Invited

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Division III Swimming & Diving Championships Committee announed the participation and alternates lists earlier this week for the upcoming national championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis later this month.

The ODAC saw five swimmers and a pair of relays qualify for competition with an additional three relays and one individual a part of the invited list to compete at the championship.

Washington and Lee leads the list of Leighton Chapman and Dalton Jobe qualifying as individuals in addtion to the men's 400-yard and 800-yard freestyle relay teams. The Generals' men's 200-yard free, 200-yard medley, and 400-yard medley relays teams are part of the invited list along with women's swimming Maria Jellig.

Gracie Maughan and Henry Brooks from Lynchburg were joined by Bridgewater All-American Zachary Erb as the three remaining individual qualifiers.
