ODAC Women's Tennis Report: Report 11

  • KAYLA KOSIOREK / ISADORA LIMA | UNIVERSITY OF LYNCHBURG
    Kosiorek, a sophomore from Chesapeake, Va., and Lima, a junior from Natal, Brazil, went 3-0 in top-flight doubles action to help Lynchburg sweep three team matches last week. In a 7-0 shutout of Clark University, Kosiorek and Lima registered a 6-1 win over Larkin Gardinier and Merielle Kane. The Hornets' duo posted the same score in claiming victory over Sarah McComas and Catherine Stone as part of Lynchburg's 4-3 triumph over Lebanon Valley College. Kosiorek and Lima closed their week with a 6-2 win over Lucille Belval and Makayla Otey in the Hornets' 6-1 win over Gordon College.

  • RAYGAN WADE | ROANOKE COLLEGE
    Wade, a sophomore from Rockingham, Va., went 3-0 at No. 3 singles to help Roanoke to its first winning record since 2021-22 on their annual trip to Hilton Head at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest. The Maroons went 2-1 overall beginning with a 4-3 win over Wilkes University. Wade earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Isabel Schreffler. She then notched a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (12-10) comeback victory over Jayda Floyd to help Roanoke secure a 4-3 win over the University of Dubuque. In a 4-3 team setback to Lebanon Valley College, Wade stayed unbeaten on the trip with a 1-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-7) triumph over Megan Martin.
