LA CROSSE, Wis. — Action at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Saturday with seven ODAC stars among those in action at Memorial Veteran's Field Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Washington and Lee thrower Bailey Hedgemon highlighted the league's contingent as she not only earned NCAA First Team All-American honors, but she reset her own ODAC record in the women's hammer throw. She flung the apparatus 53.82 meters (176-7.00) to place eighth overall. The mark is 0.01 meters further than her previous ODAC benchmark from earlier this season.
Three ODAC standouts brought home All-American awards on Saturday. University of Lynchburg jumper Kacey Kelly added to her already impressive résumé with a seventh-place showing in the women's triple. Her NCAA First Team All-American honor came via a bounding leap of 12.16 meters (39-10.75), which is 0.10 meters off her own ODAC record.
In the second-most populous individual event in ODAC history, Lynchburg senior Chasen Hunt capped his stellar career with a USTFCCCA Second Team All-American finish. He placed 14th at 14:37.80, leading a four-man ODAC contingent that also included teammate Alex Jordan (17th - 14:41.28) and WLU duo Keaton Rush (18th - 14:45.74) and Sam Daunt (20th - 15:02.11), who exceeded expectations given that he was added late to the event as an alternate.
Also in action from Lynchburg was jumper Demetri Hinton. He placed 20th in the men's triple jump at 14.11 meters (46-3.50).
Below are performance profiles from each of the ODAC's 16 competitors on this season's national stage.
