So…Week 1 of ODAC golf was great, as we noted then. But Week 2…wow! ODAC golfers competed in five tournaments and not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of those events featured a league standout either as the solo champion or tied for first! Congratulations to Batten's former ODAC individual champion Juliette Coffey for winning on the women's side, and further kudos go out to three men's players for topping their leaderboards – Bridgewater's Jayden Hendricks, Randolph-Macon's Charlie Wilkerson, and Shenandoah's Braden Hermansky.

MEN'S GOLF - One Tournament

• Gate City Invitational (Results): Greensboro College as the host of the annually well-attended Gate City Invite played at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., site of the 2027 ODAC Men's Golf Championship. Five ODAC members dotted the 18-team (17-school) team table with Shenandoah leading the ODAC's contingent in third place 2-under 862, seven shots behind Huntingdon College following 54 holes of competition. Hampden-Sydney placed sixth (+17, 881), while Guilford (+31, 895) and Lynchburg (+31, 895) tied for 11th. Averett finished 18th (+108, 972). SU's Braden Hermansky - the ODAC Golfer of the Week from Week 1 - was among four players tied for first at 3-under 213.
• Kinder-Williams Invitational (Results): The annual Kinder-Williams Invitational hosted by Bridgewater featured 16 teams (11 schools) for 36 holes of play at Lakeview Golf Club in Harrisonburg. Four ODAC schools – Batten, BC, Hampden-Sydney, and Roanoke -- fielded eight teams. BC won the team title with Eagles' junior Jayden Hendricks capturing the individual medal. Tournament scoring was not yet completely finalized at the time of this posting.
• The Toftrees Invitational (Results): Randolph-Macon carried the ODAC banner to State College, Pa., where the Yellow Jackets competed in The Toftrees Invitational hosted by Penn State Altoona at Toftrees Golf Resort. RMC placed second out of 16 teams in the table at 3-under par 573, 11 shots back of John Carroll University. JCU and RMC separated themselves as the only two schools under par. Charlie Wilkerson stood atop the 84-player individual leaderboard at 10-under 134 following 36 holes of competition that included a clean 7-under 65 in round two.

WOMEN'S GOLF - Two Events

• Polar Bear Shootout (Results): Two ODAC teams traveled to Brunswick, Maine to take part in the Polar Bear Shootout hosted by Bowdoin College at Brunswick Golf Club. Washington and Lee placed sixth overall in a strong 14-team field at 22-over 606, while Randolph-Macon chimed in ninth at 34-over 618 following 36 holes of competition. RMC's Morgan Mussatt, the 2025-26 ODAC Golfer of the Year, was the top conference individual in a tie for ninth at 2-over 148. WLU first-year Kelsey Sciacco opened her collegiate account one stroke behind Mussatt in a tie for 11th.
• Shenandoah Invitational (Results): Five ODAC schools featured at the annual Shenandoah Invitational hosted by the Hornets at Cacapon Resort State Park in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Batten topped the 16-team (15 schools) leaderboard by two strokes over Marymount University at 57-over 633 following 36 holes of play. The Marlins “B” team placed 10th (+121, 697), while Shenandoah finished 12th (+143, 719), Bridgewater 13th (+150, 726), and Roanoke 15th (+195, 761). Averett also appeared with one individual in the field. BATN's Juliette Coffey won the event by two strokes at even-par 144.
