ODAC Women's Soccer Report: Week 9

Nationally ninth-ranked Washington and Lee outscored two ODAC opponents, 16-0, last week to register its second straight 10-0-0 league season to stand atop the ODAC table with 30 points. The remaining 12 teams in the league all have one game left with five contests on Wednesday and one on Thursday before the release of the ODAC tournament bracket. Bridgewater, Shenandoah, and Virginia Wesleyan each won twice last week – one of BC's results was a non-conference win – as they positioned themselves towards the top of the league table. The Marlins are on 22 points (7-1-1), while the Hornets (7-2-0) and Randolph-Macon (7-2-0) are just one marker back with Bridgewater (6-3-0) on 18 points.

Keefe began the week with a pair of saves in 76 minutes in front of VWU's net in a 5-0 triumph over Randolph-Macon. She then made five stops in a full shift in a 5-0 triumph at Roanoke. In a 3-0 non-conference win at Gettysburg College, Garza scored the Eagles' second goal in the 73rd minute off an assist from Brianna Curro. Garza then played a part in three of BC's four goals in a 4-1 triumph at Lynchburg in ODAC play. She assisted Lauren Narby on the game's first goal just 2:27 from the opening whistle. Garza then put the Eagles ahead, 2-1, in the 20th minute with more help from Curro. Garza again turned Curro into an assist-maker with the game's final tally in the 55th minute. For the season, Garza is tied for fifth in the ODAC in goals scored (9) and tied for ninth in points (20).
