WINCHESTER, Va. --- ODAC wrestlers are set for the fourth ODAC Wrestling Championships since the return of the sport three seasons ago. Shenandoah University and its James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center are set to serve as hosts for the second time, joining its successful effort upon the sport's return in 2023.
ODAC wrestling caps its fourth season since 1980 with 65 wrestlers competing for 10 titles at each of the standard collegiate weight classes. In addition to naming an individual champion from each eight, seven, or six-person bracket, a team champion will also be named at the conclusion of the event. Early round action will be competed over two mats with the finals moving to one showcase mat in the evening.
Competition begins at 11:00 a.m. ET with first round and consolation matches. The winner's bracket semifinals kickoff at 1:00 p.m. ET, with the consolation semifinals slated for 3:30 p.m. ET. The consolation finals to determine each class's third-place finisher start at 5:00 p.m. ET. The ODAC Championships conclude with each weight class's title-determining championship at 7:00 p.m. ET.
