ODAC Women's Lacrosse Report: Week 4

ODAC teams were on the field for 18 games last week, all against non-conference foes. Guilford, Randolph-Macon, and nationally 12th-ranked Washington and Lee each picked up a pair of victories to highlight the week's action. The Generals (5-2) are joined by Lynchburg (5-1) and Shenandoah (5-1) with the most wins in the league overall.

  • PAIGE MAYERS | BRIDGEWATER | MIDFIELDER
    Mayers, a junior from Glen Allen, Va., exemplified the ideal two-way midfielder's output by contributing to Bridgewater's offensive, defensive, and draw control units in the Eagles' 1-1 week. In an 11-9 loss at Meredith College, Mayers set a BC program-record with nine caused turnovers to go with a ground ball and 11 draw controls. She also scored five goals including a 2-for-2 showing on free-position attempts. In a 15-3 triumph at Methodist University, Mayers caused two more turnovers and picked up three ground balls in addition to a pair of draw controls. She turned up the offense a bit, scoring four times with two assists.

  • LILLY FOWLER | RANDOLPH-MACON | ATTACKER
    Fowler, a senior from Phoenix, Md., was the catalyst behind Randolph-Macon's attack to help power the Yellow Jackets to a 2-0 showing with wins at Marymount University (9-8) and versus Rhodes College (17-14). Fowler totaled 13 points over the two outings beginning with three goals and two assists at MMT. She also caused a pair of turnovers and picked up two ground balls. Fowler turned up the production against the Lynx, scoring five times to go with three helpers for eight points. She was 2-for-3 from free-position and chipped in two caused turnovers and a ground ball.
